Meet Penny
I'm Penny, a coach offering a calm, supportive space to help you find clarity, feel more grounded and move forward with confidence.
My approach is thoughtful, practical and always led by you.
When life feels busy, uncertain or overwhelming, it isn’t always easy to see the way forward. Having the time and space to pause, reflect and talk things through can often bring a fresh perspective and make the next step feel clearer. My role is to listen carefully, offer space for reflection and support you in finding a way forward that feels right for you.
Whether you are navigating change, feeling overwhelmed or looking for greater clarity, we will work together at a pace that feels comfortable and right for you.
My background
My career has taken me across the corporate sector, the NHS, local government and the voluntary and community sector, giving me more than twenty-five years' experience supporting people, communities and organisations through change.
Throughout that time, I have had the privilege of working alongside people from all walks of life, helping them navigate uncertainty, recognise strengths they didn't realise they had and find the confidence to take their next step forward.
My work has included supporting individuals, developing partnerships, working alongside charities and community organisations, and helping people turn ideas into meaningful action. Although every role has been different, the thread running through my career has always been the same: creating calm, supportive spaces where people feel listened to, encouraged and empowered to move forward in a way that feels right for them.
Today, I bring together those experiences with coaching, reflective practice and a gentle, intuitive approach to offer a safe space where you can pause, gain clarity and reconnect with your own inner wisdom.
How I work
No two people are the same, so no two coaching conversations are the same.
Whether you need space to untangle your thoughts, work through an important decision or simply be listened to without judgement, we'll explore what's happening, make sense of your situation and discover a way forward that feels authentic to you.
Part of the way I coach is helping people look beyond the immediate challenge. By noticing themes, strengths and possibilities that may not be obvious at first, I can help people see their situation in a new way and discover options they may not have previously considered.
Alongside coaching, I sometimes use elemental psychology as a gentle framework for self-discovery. It helps us explore your natural strengths, how you experience the world and the ways you are most likely to flourish. Many people find it reassuring because it focuses on understanding and working with who they already are, rather than trying to become someone else.
Every session is shaped around you. Some people simply need space to think and reflect, while others benefit from practical coaching tools or gentle self-discovery. Together, we create an approach that feels natural, supportive and aligned with where you are right now.
Throughout my career, people have shared that they leave conversations feeling calmer, clearer and more confident than when they arrived. They describe feeling genuinely listened to, able to organise their thoughts and supported to find their own way forward.
Creating that kind of space is at the heart of how I coach.
I believe lasting change comes from understanding yourself more deeply.
My role isn't to provide the answers. It is to create a calm, supportive space where you feel heard, understood and able to explore what feels right for you. Together we will recognise strengths that may have been overlooked, consider new possibilities and explore the choices available to you.
Above all, I hope you will leave each session with greater clarity, confidence and trust in yourself.

Taking the first step
Taking the first step can sometimes feel like the hardest part.
If you are looking for a calm, supportive space to pause, reflect and explore what comes next, I'd love to welcome you for an introductory conversation.
Our first conversation is simply an opportunity to meet, explore what is bringing you here and discover whether working together feels like the right next step.
There is no pressure - just a warm welcome and a calm space to begin.
